COMMON FEATURES
A Hazardous Area is defined as an area in which an explosive atmosphere is present, or may be expected to be present, inquantities such as to require special precautions for the construction, installation and use of potential ignition sources. Explosionproof air conditioners are therefore necessary to cool a switchgear abinet in these areas. Cosmotec explosionproof airconditioners, designed following the international available rules and norms (CESI, ATEX, IEC, EN), are fitted with Flame proof motors for Protection Zone I Eex d - Group II .All units have stainless steel (AISI 304) casing.
